Braveheart

Braveheart is a 5-reel Cryptologic slot based on the hit 1995 movie starring Mel Gibson. This slot features 25 paylines, stacked wilds on all reels that double your wins, and two different bonus features.

The Battle Free Game Feature is triggered when three or more scatters land on the reels during a spin. You are awarded 10 free spins with all wins being doubled. A battle between England and Scotland takes place during the free spins, and the Longshanks (King Edward I) symbol is stacked on the reels.

Each Braveheart symbol that lands during free spins advances the Scottish side, and each Longshanks symbol that lands advances the English side. If Scotland is ahead at the end of free spins, you are awarded a bonus prize of up to 100x the triggering bet. Considering that the Longshanks symbol is one of the highest paying symbols, and is stacked along with the wilds in free spins, there is potential for some very big wins. This feature cannot be re-triggered.

The Kilt Lift Feature is very classy. The Kilt symbols are present on all reels and they pay like regular symbols, but if three of them land anywhere on the middle three reels, it triggers the Kilt Lift Feature. Pick one of the symbols and the lad will lift his kilt to reveal your prize… lol. You can also win an extra pick or ‘Win All’ can be awarded.

As with the Forrest Gump slot, Braveheart comes with five levels of progressive jackpots that are randomly awarded. The higher your bet, the better your chances are of triggering the jackpot game. During the jackpot game you make up to four selections to reveal film reels that are either gold, silver, or bronze, and you are awarded 10, 5, or 3 points respectively. If you get enough points, you move up to the higher level jackpot and play the game again.
