Alaskan Fishing is my favorite MicroGaming video slot, mostly because it has given me the biggest wins, but it can be rough when it’s cold. It features 243 win lines, stacked wilds on all reels, 15 free spins with a x3 multiplier, and a Fly Fishing Bonus round.

This is the slot I was playing my first night at 32Red Casino when I won $800 on a $3 bet (see my Maple Casino Review to read about my first online casino experience). I didn’t get a screenshot of that win, but if you look below you will see some of my other wins on this slot, including my biggest win I ever hit on a single spin.

The Fly Fishing Bonus is triggered by getting a fisherman on reels 1 and 5, you get 5 choices between places to cast your line and catch fish that can win between 2x and 15x your bet. The best I have done on a $3 bet is about $150.

Free spins are triggered when three or more scatter symbols land on the reels during a single spin. You are awarded 15 free spins with a x3 multiplier. Free spins can be re-triggered and the bonus can be triggered within free spins, the bonus win is not multiplied by x3 multiplier for being in free spins.

I have had good luck with this slot, when it’s hot it can pay you very well, but when it’s cold it can eat your money fast. The stacked wilds seem to show up on the reels more often than in other similar style games, and the fishing bonus triggers fairly often. The free spins don’t seem to trigger very often.

Planet Exotica is a new “Sneak-a-Peek” MicroGaming slot that features 15 paylines, a wild symbol, and two bonus features – one with alien strippers! lol

This is the third Sneak-a-Peek slot released by MicroGaming. The other two are Doctor Doctor which features sexy nurses, and Hunky Heroes featuring muscle clad men. Those two are basically the same 9-payline slots with different symbols, but Planet Exotica has a couple big differences. The most obvious difference is the 15 paylines instead of 9, and the scatters that trigger the free spins bonus can land anywhere, not just the first 3 reels.

The Sneak-a-Peek bonus is triggered when the sneak-a-peek symbol lands on the first reel, and an alien stripper lands in the same position on the last reel. You are taken to a second screen where you select 12 of the 15 letters as you try to match three of each article of clothing, without revealing any bouncers, to completely disrobe the alien stripper. Each article of clothing removed awards another 10x your total bet, for a maximum 40x.

The free spins bonus is triggered when three or more scattered “smooch” symbols land on the reels during a spin, select a smooch to reveal your free spins and multiplier. During free spins, modifier symbols can land on the 4th and 5th reels to add either more free spins or a higher multiplier.

I really like this slot, not just because of the alien strippers, but because there is quite a bit to it. I like playing Doctor Doctor once in a while, but with the extra paylines and easier to hit scatters, I think I’ll be playing this one more. See the screenshots below for paytable information.

This is where it gets really exciting because the payouts can be massive and even with the minimum bet size, the wins could increase your bankroll substantially.

Avalon is a coin based game and the denominations range in between $0.01 and $0.50; furthermore the paylines may be reduced to your personal preference. It is recommended that all lines stay active to ensure the maximum winning possibilities. The maximum bet no matter the coin value is 200 coins, which is perfect for all types of players. The more risky slot spinner to the modest conservative player, everyone will find a bet that works for them.

Finally, there is a gamble feature in Avalon. This option gives you the opportunity to double their wins made on the reels. If you decide to gamble you will be taken to a second screen where you must choose the colour of the facedown playing card. It’s quite simple, and if successful, very profitable. Cashapillar is a MicroGaming slot that features a whopping 100 paylines, stacked wilds that double your win, and free spins with a x3 multiplier. It is unique in that the reels are all 5 symbols high rather than 3, and the wilds are stacked high enough to fill the reels.

Free spins are triggered when 3 or more scatter symbols (birthday cake) land on the reels during a spin. You are awarded 15 free spins with all wins tripled, this feature can be retriggered and it does once in a while. Win up to 6 million coins during free spins! With a maximum coin size of $.02, that means you could win up to $120,000!

I really like this slot, but it can get cold just like any other. If you are playing at the right time, you can hit some big wins. The free spins feature seems to either trigger lots with retriggers during free spins, or not trigger at all for many spins. This slot game definitely seems to have hot and cold streaks.

You don’t win much without the stacked wilds being in play, so half the time I just play 50 lines, you don’t lose as fast when it’s cold and the wins are just as good. ThunderStruck II is a very feature rich MicroGaming slot that is unique and fun to play. It features 243 ways to win, a wild symbol that doubles your wins, the “WildStorm” feature, and a bonus with four different options for free spins. This slot also rewards you for playing it more with player accomplishments and progression in the Great Hall of Spins.

ThunderStruck II is a much better slot than the original ThunderStruck, which is still available to play. The original slot only had 9 paylines and a regular free spin feature. Much less interesting than this new and improved slot.

The WildStorm feature can be triggered randomly at any time, on any sized bet. When you click to spin, the reels all keep spinning longer than usual while clouds form on top, lightning and thunder can be heard, and a Viking warrior drops down onto the screen. After he leaps away, lightning bolts strike the reels making them wild and holding them for one spin. Any number of reels can become wild and some huge wins have been hit when three or more reels are made wild during this feature.

The free spins bonus round is triggered when three or more Thor’s Hammer symbols land on the reels during a spin. The amount of times you have triggered the bonus on this slot, at the same casino, determines the choices you get for free spins. The first four times you trigger free spins, you are only given one choice – Valkyrie – where you are given 10 free spins with a x5 multiplier.

The fifth time you trigger the bonus, a new choice is added – Loki – where you have 15 free spins with a “Wild Magic” feature. If the Wild Magic symbol lands on the middle reel during any of those 15 spins, it randomly multiplies itself a number of times to make other symbols on the reels wild.

On your 10th bonus trigger, another choice is added – Odin – with 20 free spins and the “Wild Raven” feature. Two ravens randomly land on symbols during those spins, turning them into 2x or 3x multipliers.

Finally, on the 15th trigger of the bonus, the last choice is added – Thor – where you get 25 free spins with Rolling Reels and up to a x5 multiplier. On the completion of a winning spin, the symbols involved in the win are removed, the multiplier is increased, and new symbols drop in where there is room created. This can cause multiple consecutive wins from a single spin, and once nothing lines up, the next spin is started.

ThunderStruck II also has “Player Achievements”, which allow you to track your progress via the paytable. It shows how far along you are in the Great Hall of Spins, and shows the symbols that you have lined up by turning the paytable information gold for that symbol. Tomb Raider – Secret of the Sword is the second Tomb Raider themed slot to hit MicroGaming casinos. It features 30 paylines, a wild symbol, free spins with “Rolling Reels”, a random “Super Mode”, and the “Global Adventure Bonus”.

Like many other slots, this second slot based on the Tomb Raider theme is better than the first. The first version, also available for play, has half the paylines and dated graphics but I still enjoy playing it from time to time. The bonus feature in Secret of the Sword is also much better than the first version, but it takes a while to finally trigger.

The Global Adventure Bonus is triggered by ‘activating’ all 5 reels. A reel is activated when the passport symbol lands on the middle of the reel. When the final reel is activated, you are taken to a screen showing a world map with destinations for you to pick. The goal is to find all the sword fragments to complete the adventure. Pick a destination to start your adventure wherever you wish. Each destination takes you to a screen with several choices, one has the sword fragment, others have cash prizes or they can be a trap. Keep choosing until you find the fragment to continue the adventure, or two Trap symbols that can end the bonus.

You can also find a Hidden Treasure in any of the destinations, where you select one of three extra choices that pop up after choosing that spot. You can be awarded more cash, a multiplier for that cash prize, everything hidden there, or the Shootout Bonus. In the Shootout Bonus you are taken to a screen with several discs hiding cash prizes. Shoot one to remove all other discs and reveal your prize.

If you’re lucky enough after finding two traps, you may be able to continue the adventure by winning a fight with an enemy. This encounter is randomly triggered, so you won’t have that chance every time. Personally, I find they give you this chance more often than not. Complete the Global Adventure Bonus by finding all the sword fragments, and win up to 450x your bet.

Free spins are triggered by three or more scatter symbols landing on the reels during a spin. You are awarded 10 free spins with a Rolling Reels feature. When symbols line up for a win, they are counted and then removed from the reels and the multiplier is increased by one. The remaining symbols then fall down to fill the spaces, and new symbols fall in. If another win is lined up, the process repeats with a maximum multiplier of x5 until the symbols no longer line up, and then the next spin is played. Free spins cannot be retriggered and the Global Adventure Bonus cannot be triggered during free spins.

Super Mode can be triggered randomly on any spin, except during free spins. This feature awards 5 free spins with Laura Croft randomly shooting symbols and making them wild. The wilds are then held until the completion of Super Mode.

I have always had decent luck playing this slot. The Global Adventure Bonus can be quite rewarding, I’ve won over $1000 on a $3 bet by completing the adventure, but I have also lost quickly without winning much. I didn’t take a screenshot of that big win, but see the screenshots below for paytable information, hopefully I can add a nice winning screenshot in the future.

CashOccino is a fun MicroGaming slot to play, and can pay well at times. It features 30 paylines, free spins, and an “Extra Bet” feature (cost is half your bet).

When you click on “Extra Bet” to spin (it shows the total coins that will be bet on the button itself), you can get much more out of the free spin feature. If two scatters land on the reels with the extra bet enabled, you are awarded one free spin with a x3 multiplier. If 3 or more scatters land during a spin, you are awarded 30 free spins with a x3 multiplier. I’ve noticed that three or more scatters often land during the one free spin.

Without the extra bet enabled (when you just click the spin button), 2 scatters pays your bet back with no free spin and hitting 3 scatters only awards 15 free spins with a x3 multiplier. I find it’s definitely worth the extra bet.

I’ve usually had pretty good luck at this slot, though I don’t stick around for very long when it isn’t hitting much. I always use the extra bet option, sometimes getting that one free spin can win big, and it’s always better to get 30 free spins over 15. Dance of the Masai is a 25-line MicroGaming slot that features a wild symbol on the second and fourth reels, and 10 free spins with expanding wilds and multipliers.

Free Spins are triggered when three or more scatter symbols land on the reels during a spin. You are awarded 10 free spins and the wild symbold expands to fill the entire reel when it lands during a free spin. If the wild lands on the second reel all wins involving the wild are multiplied by 2, on the fourth reel all wins are multiplied by 4, and if it lands on both the second and fourth reels all wins are multiplied by 8.

I don’t play this slot very often, but it does seem to give you free spins frequently. See the screenshot below for my biggest win on this slot. I was betting $1.25 per spin and noticed that lots of scatters were showing up but not 3 at the same time, so I upped my bet to $2.50 hoping free spins would hit soon. Free spins triggered right away and I got up to grab a beer while they were spinning, when I got back there were still a few spins remaining and my win was already at over $1100! Not sure exactly what I hit, but that didn’t really matter to me at the time.

Deck the Halls is a Christmas themed slot from MicroGaming that can pay very well at times, but can also be very cold other times. This slot features 30 paylines, a wild symbol that doubles your win, a free spins feature, and Christmas tunes playing in the background. The highest paying non-wild symbol (Santa) is stacked during the regular game.

Free spins are triggered when three scattered Bell symbols land on the reels during a spin. You are awarded 10 free spins with all wins multiplied by 2. The wild symbol appears stacked on all reels along with the stacked Santa symbols. This can create some very big wins if you can get a mixture of both. Since the wild symbol doubles the wins and free spin wins are doubled as well, wins with a wild symbol involved are multiplied by 4!

Since you are only given 10 free spins, I think they should trigger more often. I find this slot to be one of the hardest MicroGaming slots to hit the feature on, but it can also give very big wins during those free spins so it’s worth playing for a bit to see if you can hit them.
