Dolphin Coast is a new video slot available at MicroGaming online casinos. It is a 5-reel, 5-symbol high video slot that features 3125 ways to win, free spins, a bonus wild symbol on reel 3, and stacked wilds on reels 2 and 4.

It is similar to the Cashapillar slot in format, using a 5×5 grid, though it is different in many ways and definitely seems to pay more often. Although Dolphin Coast only has stacked wilds on the 2nd and 4th reels, there is still potential for some very big wins, especially if the bonus wild symbol lands on the middle reel when the wilds are stacked on reels 2 and 4.

The bonus wild symbol is only present on the third reel. When it lands during a spin, and symbols line up on at least reels 1 and 2, three dolphins pop up for you to choose from. During free spins, the wilds are no longer stacked, but they can land on any of the reels. The highest paying symbols are stacked instead, which can lead to some very nice wins during the free spin feature.

This new slot became an instant favorite of mine due to the frequent wins, and free spins are also triggered often. Lately I have been turned off of new slot games because they usually seem to be very tight, but this new game appears to be an exception. A tatoo parlour themed slot named Hot Ink hit Microgaming casinos today, January 11th 2011. This new slot features 1024 ways to win in a 4×5 reel layout, wild symbols, scatter symbols, and two bonus features. It also has the new respin feature.

When three of the yin-yang fish scatter symbols land on the reels, you are awarded 20 free spins with all wins doubled. Free spins can be retriggered, but the Tattoo Bonus cannot be triggered within the free spins feature. The symbols are still on the reels, but they just pay as scatters when three or more land during a free spin.

The Tattoo Bonus is a second-screen bonus feature where you select all three tattoo albums displayed to reveal cash prizes. If all three tattoos match, you are given 10 free spins with a x2 multiplier. The woman getting the tattoos isn’t very attractive, they could have done a much better job drawing her up (like the ones on Doctor Doctor, a ‘Sneak-A-Peak’ slot available at Microgaming casinos). Just saying because casinos, and many other companies, usually use sex to sell things, and she’s just not very sexy… lol

The respin feature allows you to spin one reel at a time for an extra weighted bet. It can come in handy at times, but it can also be very costly. I tried it out in free-play like I usually do to create a bit of a strategy for the respin feature. Again I found the best time to use it is when you have many wilds on the reels. Being a 1024 way slot, obviously the more reels that are wild the better. Once I got wilds on the first two reels during a spin, I decided it was a great time to go for some respins. Nothing was really lining up for 5 of a kind due to the 4th reel, so it didn’t cost much at all to keep spinning the last reel until a wild landed. Then the 4th reel became fairly expensive, but wins were coming easy enough to keep spinning until a wild landed again. Now just the middle reel was left without a wild so respinning it was very costly, but the wins were large because every symbol that landed hit for 5 of a kind. To my surprise, a wild landed after just a couple of spins, giving me 5 wilds.

It was fun to try in free-play mode, but I wouldn’t have the guts to spend as much as I was on a respin with real money. You can see the screenshot below of when I lined up the five wilds, and you can see the huge cost of respinning any reel with all those wilds there. The win could have been bigger if there were higher paying symbols on the reels plus the wilds, but that would be a nice win on a regular spin. The fact that it cost so much to respin, only makes that big win a bit higher than bet x 2.

Lady in Red is an online video slot powered by Microgaming. One of the most recent releases by the casino platform, the layout is simple at 5-reels and 25-paylines. The theme is music inspired, based on a cabaret singer and the story is played out on the reels in true Microgaming form, and the entire design is much like other games offered by the software.

The symbols are inspired by the theme and include standard playing card values, cocktails and there are scatters, wilds and jackpot symbols just as you would find in almost any slot game in the video slot menu. The wild is the Lady in Red logo, and it substitutes for all symbols on the reels besides the Camera scatter.

The wild appears on all reels, making a payline win of five wilds possible which is the largest payout in the game. The fixed jackpot is worth 12,500 coins, which is pretty impressive for any bet size and the second largest payout is also impressive at 2,500 coins; all wins are multiplied by line bet.

There is a free spin bonus, and the scatter symbol activates it when three or more symbols appear on the reels in any position. Love Potion can be a very good MicroGaming slot to play, I’ve had a few nice wins on it. It features 9 paylines, free spins with x5 multiplier, and a pick bonus feature.

Cashanova is a 5-reel 30-payline video slot machine powered by Microgaming software. One of the most popular games in their library of video slots, you will find that the bonus features, the storyline and the payout table are the reason so many players choose Cashanova when playing online. When I started playing I found that the added paylines were helpful in creating more winning payline combinations. The payouts weren’t huge, but they were enough to add a small boost to my bankroll and keep me playing longer.
